Itinerary:

Day 1 – Marrakesh – Ouazazate – Dades Gorge

We will pick you up at 8 am, then travel over the Tizi n’Tichka Pass (elevation 2,260 meters/7,414 feet) experience the mountains and of the Berber villages on the way. We will stop for lunch in Ouarzazate the door of sahara the city of Ouarzazate and continue leisurely through the Valley of Roses and onwards to the Valley. Cultural and historic highlights along the way include the oasis of Skoura, heritage sites in the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs and finally, the stunning natural wonder of the Dades Gorges, where we’ll stay overnight, in an authentic hotel with modern accommodations.

Day 2 – Dades Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga

After breakfast at the hotel we will depart for the Todra Gorge: a massive fault rising up to 300 m in a narrow valley, with lush palm oases and picturesque Berber Villages. After lunch in the gorge, we will drive to the sand dunes of Erg Chebbi, passing through Erfoud and Rissani, following the ancient caravan paths that eventually lead to Timbuktu. After we arrive in Merzouga, we’ll have some mint tea, and leave our baggage in a room at the hotel. Then you will ride your camels (about one hour and a half) in order to arrive at the desert camp, staying in Nomadic tents. We’ll have dinner, camp fire,overnight stay in the desert under a sky full of stars. You’ll have free time to sandboard, and watch for shooting stars.

Day 3: Merzouga – Desert Tour – Erg Chebbi Dunes

In the early morning, your camel guide will wake you up in order to climb the dunes and magnificent sunrise over the dunes of Erg Chebbi. The camel trek winds its way back to the hotel at the edge of the dunes for breakfast and shower After breakfast, we will start an adventure tour in our overland vehicle, of approximately half day in the desert, experiencing the different faces of the desert: sand dunes and expanses of black desert rock, and discover how the local people extract the fossils from the heart of the earth. We will pass through small villages and stop to drink mint tea and have lunch with a Berber family in their tent, along the same road used by the Paris Dakar rally. In the afternoon,come back  to the hotel for dinner .

Day 4 : Merzouga – Merzouga 

In the morning ,breakfat in hotel , relaxing at the hotel a day in Merzouga at a hotel near the sand dunes, you can also do  cooking class if you want , visit village of desert Merzouga.know more about the berber saharawi people and their culture,visit oasis of merzouga,ovenight in hotel with dinner.

DAY 5: Merzouga – Tazarine – Agdez – Ouarzazate

In the  morning, after breakfast in hotel. Leaving Merzouga, we drive to Rissani, a small Saharan town in southeast of Morocco, here we can stop to visit a fossil workshop before we continue to the Agdez and Draa valley junction, where we head north back to Ouarzazate after crossing the small volcanic Atlas Mountains. Overnight in Ouarzazate at a traditional hotel with dinner.

DAY 6 : Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – Telouet – Marrakech

After breakfast, we’ll visit to cinema sets & studios located in Ouarzazate, which is known as Hollywood of Africa, because of the many movies and television shows filmed against the desert backdrop. Afterwards we will visit the World Heritage Site of Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou , designated by UNESCO in 1987. Ait Ben Haddou has been used as a backdrop for more than 20 films including “Gladiator” “Indiana Jones” and “Lawrence of Arabia”. walk to explore the traditional Moroccan style of architecture in which the Kasbahs are built. We continue on our way to Marrakesh through the High Atlas Mountains and Tizi n’Tichka pass. Break for lunch in the middle of the Atlas Mountains. Once we’ve reached Marrakech, we’ll drop you off at your Marrakech Riad/Hotel.
